Foil Stamping of the LFA Lexus invitations and business cards

Pressman has been working on a collaboration with Soolip, the finest Paperie, on printing the LFA Lexus promotional materials recently. The LFA event was a series of events in major cities across the USA. From special silver foil stamped invitations to the exclusive bashes held bi-coastaly for the buyers, to their business cards and exceptionally hip-hop-happening envelopes. The textured envelopes are a plastic material that is to appear like the ‘carbon fiber body’ of the car. If you haven’t heard about this limited production ‘concept’ car, you might not, at least in the near future. Production is scheduled to begin in December 2010, delivery thereafter, and the general public of larger cities will be seeing one or two around your midst in 2011. The Lexus LFA is a two seat concept sports car, racing prototype, and its in a limited production run of 500. I’m told all of the run has been pre-sold. The production Lexus LFA features a new V10 engine and a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) body. The use of CFRP materials, which account for 65 percent of the LFA’s body composition by mass, is to reduce overall weight for improved performance. The LFA has an estimated base price of $ 350,000-375,000, but if you’d like all the bells and whistles I’m told the price can go up to $ 500,000. I’m also told that Lexus is loosing money on each and every one of these cars. When I heard that, I felt sorry for Lexus. After all of the effort, engineering, survey marketing, man hours, design refining, tooling, testing, setting up a factory production floor, etc… they won’t make a dime. But even so, its a beautiful car and the project does have brand identity value. I certainly have a new level of respect for this engineering feat of magnitude.

The New Website of Pressman

Welcome to Pressman’s new website. Its still in its early stages of development with not a lot of material online. Plans for it include a ‘Smarticles’ area where we’ll post an article on various printing subjects, for example, the graphic design team is working on their article, and the embossing/ foil stamping manager is working on that article, etc… I’m hoping that the articles will be of value to people in gaining a bit more understanding of what the range of possibilities are to their promotional needs.

Avenues Walk for Life Campaign

Recently Pressman Printing printed the ‘Walk For Life’ brochures for ‘Avenues‘ which is wonderful organization in Glendale, California that raises money for mothers and their babies in the Glendale Community. The ‘Walk For Life’ campaign is a Crisis Pregnancy Clinic of Southern California

This Summer Pressman Printing did the printing for the Los Angeles based Human Rights Watch Annual Dinner at the Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara, CA. The event was attended by many dignitaries and opinion leaders.

Human Rights Watch is a global leader in fighting for human rights and has 30 years experience in Breaking Oppression’s Silence and their motto is ‘Voices For Justice’. Pressman Printing is proud to be their printer.

Rebel Sports Inc. & Pressman Printing
